Take the jacket of fear off and go after the life you want. I say the jacket of fear because fear can sometimes feel so overwhelming it can feel as if it is as large as a jacket that you can not take off. Whenever we think of change it can definitely bring upon some fear in your life, because you don’t know what to expect. But let’s face it, if you were happy in your career and where things were in your life you wouldn’t be thinking of change.
Fear is to be expected but I want you to know it also normal. I even fear my goals that are larger than what I have accomplished thus far, but I know this will take me to a place I desire to be financially and emotionally. This will also be a step for my daughter because the further I go the better things will be for her.
As I stated in a previous blog your next career move can be somebody’s blessing and in my case I know my daughter will benefit from me taking off my jacket of fear. And plus it doesn’t go with the rest of my attire, achievement and accountability.
At the end of the day you have to choose. You can’t remain in fear and remain complacent and expect to get the results you know deep inside you are capable of achieving. If you need help it’s ok. Reach out to a mentor or coach such as myself because it will not only save you time but also emotions.
So let’s retire that member’s only jacket called fear and put on that suit of achievement, accountability, and success. You can do this!
